David Malouf - President, Director
A graduate from the Haileybury School of Mines in 1978, David brings his lifetime of hands-on experience in Canadian mining to AMCL as it continues its exploration program in the Geraldton-Beardmore (Ontario) Gold Camp, Quebec, and the Dominican Republic. As President of Roxmark Mines in 1993, David was instrumental in forwarding that company's acquisitions in the Geraldton-Beardmore Gold Camp where he successfully assembled many of the past producers under the umbrella of that company. During 2006 David assumed the role of Vice-Chairman Business Development and Corporate Affairs for Roxmark and successfully negotiated a Joint Venture between Roxmark and Premier Gold Mines; that Joint Venture resulted in the development of a multi-million ounce resource in the Geraldton-Beardmore Gold camp. David is well versed in corporate management and is an accomplished corporate business developer, who believes in putting shareholders' rights first.
Carmen Miguelina Estevez - Vice-President, Director
Ms. Estevez has enjoyed her career in public service culminating in her being awarded the Distinguished Lady of Santiago, by the Honourable Governor (Jose Enrique Sued) in 2001 for her work in city government. Ms. Estevez presently serves on the municipal level of government as Personal-Assistant to the Major (Jose Enrique Sued) of the City of Santiago. Ms. Estevez has continued throughout her career to advance her education at both UTESA (Universidad Tecnologica de Santiago) and UAPA (Universidad Abierta Para Adultos) in advanced courses and seminars in; Marketing, Psychology, Communication Skills, and Children Learning Disabilities. Ms. Estevez is Vice - President of Advandtel Dominicana S. A., parent company of Advandtel Minerals (Canada) Ltd.
Miguel Nunez, LLB. - Director
Mr. Nunez graduated from the University of UTESA (Universidad Tecnologica de Santiago) with a Bachelors Degree in Law, followed by a Master's Degree in Legislation. Subsequently, Mr. Nunez completed courses in Criminology and a Diploma in Social Security and Labour Law at UAPA (Universidad Abierta Para Adulto). From 2002 to 2008, Mr. Nunez was Vice-President of the Law Office of Hernandez & Estrella and is presently President of his own firm Nunez & Associates in the City of Santiago. Mr. Nunez is Vice - President of Advandtel Dominicana S. A., parent company of Advandtel Minerals (Canada) Ltd.
Ian Hochberg, MBA - Director
Mr. Hochberg has provided management consulting services for the past 17 years, the last 10 as an independent practitioner. His work includes strategic and financial planning primarily for innovative organizations in the telecommunications and Information Technology sectors. Prior to establishing his own practice, Mr. Hochberg provided consulting services to early stage technology companies on behalf of Connect. IT - an Ontario Government initiative and he also worked with a private venture capital company. Mr. Hochberg has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
Dr. Colin Bowdidge, Geologist
Dr. Bowdidge is an advisor to Advandtel Minerals. He has a degree in geology and mineralogy from the University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. in geology from the University of Edinburgh. He has 35 years of practical experience in all phases of mineral exploration and mine development. Most of his career has been spent in Canada, but he has also handled projects in Europe, Latin America and the United States. Over the years Dr. Bowdidge has managed and executed exploration programs in Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec, North West Territories and Virginia. He has directed explorations for gold, silver, base metals, iron ore and industrial minerals. Dr. Bowdidge has been advising Advandtel Minerals in the Beardmore/Geraldton camp, and previously was President of St. Anthony Resources Inc., a company that has performed extensive work in the Beardmore area.
Mr. Myron Nelson, Prospector
An experienced Prospector and Forester, Mr. Nelson has been working in the Beardmore/Geraldton area of Ontario for over 40 years. He brings extensive local knowledge, experience and dedication to Advandtel Minerals (Canada) Ltd. He has worked at prospecting, sampling stripping and trenching numerous properties for himself and various mining companies over the years with much success. Mr. Nelson has a very good reputation among the companies in the area and has many strategic alliances with mining companies operating across Ontario. He is experienced in matters concerning the Ministry of Mines in Thunder Bay as he has worked on and has optioned many properties in the Beardmore/Geraldton gold camp.
Robert B. L'Heureux, M.Sc., P.Geol. Geologist
Mr. L'Heureux is a consulting geologist with APEX Geoscience Ltd. of Edmonton, Alberta and a graduate of the University of Alberta with a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Geology and a member in good standing of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta. Mr. L'Heureux is a Independent Qualified Person as defined in National Policy 43-101 and is primarily responsible for, or directly supervised, the writing of the report entitled "Technical Report on the Blackwater River Precious Metal Property Thunder Bay Mining Division, Ontario, 32 Canada" dated December 30, 2008; it is based on a study of the data and literature available on the Blackwater River Property.
